FAD pledged to provide US $300 assistance to Cambodia, focusing on priority areas

Phnom Penh (MGO) - The French Agency for Development (AFD) has reaffirmed its commitment to Cambodia with more than US$300 million in financing for projects for 2022-2024.

The commitment has been made during a meeting between representatives of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, representatives of technical partners from various ministries, and AFD. This is according to the press release of the France Ambassador to Cambodia on Wednesday.

The agreement was focused on priority areas including water, sanitation, agriculture, energy, and vocational training. With a target of 100 million in financing annually, AFD strives to finance sustainable development and the environment for the Kingdom of Cambodia.
