Mango export is facing the raise up of shipment price

Phnom Penh (MGO) - Cambodia's mango export to the Chinese market were congested due to a lack of transportation means. Recently a mango export company in Stung Treng province has unveiled the concern related to the raise up of shipment prices and shortage of containers.

 

Green C Agriculture firm in O Svay Commune, Borey Osvay Sen Chey said the transportation issue is an obstacle to the process of mango export to China. Currently, the firm prepares the icebox and refrigerator to store mango to reduce the cost.

 

The company expended about the US $70 million to invest in mango cultivation on the area of 1200 hectares equivalent to only 12% while the plan was 9,772,1176 hectares.

 

Related to this issue, H.E. Veng Sakhon, Minister of Agriculture Forestry and Fisheries has encouraged the firm to further efforts produce, in particular, to carry out sanitation procedures. This issue didn't happen in Cambodia only it is a global issue that can't avoid.

 

"This success is not for the company only it is for national economic and local people through the create of job income and avoid immigration. Therefore, I provide the firm for further effort support." the Minister said
