Phnom Penh (MGO) – According to the report of the General Department of Rubber, in the first 10 months of 2021, Cambodia earned more than 445 Million USD from the export of rubber, and rubberwood.


According to the same source, the total revenue for the first 10 months of 2021 from the export of rubber and rubberwood was 445,000,998.84 USD, of which the revenue from the export of rubber was 443,793,553 USD, and the revenue from the export of rubberwood was 1,207,445.84 USD.

For the number of exports in the first 10 months of 2021, Cambodia exports rubber 266,765 tons, an increase of 23,639 tons, equivalent to 10% compared to the same period last year. The export of rubberwood reached 5,128 cubic meters. The average selling price of rubber from the beginning of the year until October 2021 was 1,664 USD per ton, an increase of 354 USD per ton, 27% compared to the same period last year.

As of the first 10 months of 2021, the total rubber area is 404,160 hectares, of which 314,319 hectares are rubber plantations, equivalent to 78% and the maintenance area is 89,841 hectares, equivalent to 22%. Cambodia's rubber markets for export include China, Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia.
