Phnom Penh (MGO) – Lok Chumteav Pheung SAkona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts and Chairman of the Board of Directors of APSARA Authority, inspected and monitored the progress of some works that APSARA Authority has been preparing as well as checked the progress of the work accompanied by the leadership of the APSARA Authority.
In which, Lok Chumteav also visited the Angkor Garden, the preparation in front of Phnom Bakheng Temple, the improvement of the area in front of the Terrace of the Elephants, and the reparation of the gate of Takao Temple.
It should be noted that the tourism sector in Cambodia has declined sharply in the context of Covid-19, So that the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, as well as the APSARA Authority, have taken the time to improve other infrastructure in the Angkor area as well as repair another temple.
On December 14-16, 2021, APSARA Authority will organize the “Angkor Thanksgiving” in Angkor resort, which is a good sign that shows that Angkor resort is ready to welcome the tourists.
